I’m a former editor with The Hadley School for the Blind and Bean Soup Times. In my day job, I am a senior librarian in the Business, History and Sciences Division at Chicago Public Library's Harold Washington Library Center. This means I have broad knowledge of many subject areas-probably including your subject.
My extensive editing experience for the University has mostly been for graduate students. Areas of papers and dissertations include: the arts, social sciences, history, humanities, economics and medicine. I also edit personal and teaching statements for job applications, conference presentations and grant proposals. I give rapid turnarounds without sacrificing the quality of the work. In addition to checking for grammar and typos, I provide suggestions for better phrasing, sentence order and general presentation. Most students for whom I work are not native English speakers. I do not ghostwrite papers.
